Hello all. I did a pub crawl around the block in Barcelona and had several pints of delicious Astella beer before meeting up with G and the Budgens for more beer and tapas for tea. Still more beer with Michelle and Steve before going down to the port and boarding the FFFFFFFUUUGGEE ferry to Ibiza. Thought I had the whole first class lounge to myself so tactically arranged my belongings and couches and bedded down for the 8hr trip. Woke up to many others in the lounge including a couple who decided to play cards all night and laugh and giggle. Arrived in Ibiza at dawn went ot the hotel and was given my room straight away which was great. After breaky, went for a scope of the town and ended up doing a walking tour of the cathedral and fort with relics back to the phoenicians in 500BC......interesting stuff. Did about 10 kms in all so now it´s pool, sun (25· today) and maybe a snooze. You know the story...´When in Rome.....´´
May head to another island of Monteferra as it has beaches to rival the Whitsundays or just do a lap of this one. Take care will attach photos in a few days. Love to all. Lucas.

Relax now & enjoy the break for a few days...you've been on the move fairly constantly so you need to regroup before the next onslaught of culture...not that I think you'll find an overabundance of it in Ibiza....stay safe..much love
ReplyDeleteHello cheeky Barkers. I was amazed at the history of the place back 500bc plus. Phoenician, Roman, Spaniards, and others. Beautiful place. Can´t get in to too much trouble........everything is shut. Lucas
